despite all the lies and one-sided news fm wat you read in the newspaper, etc... about machapians cannot live without bn, mca will bring developments, etc... i thought of planning a trip there this saturday (7th april 2007)... prolly will book a cab with a friendly indian neighbour of mine....
just a day trip.. prolly leave early in the morning and back by eveningish or so...
the opposing side is sending approx 1,000 people there... doing campaign by themselves all alone... unlike mca which is expecting approx 3,000 toothless dogs running around, is having all the perks fm the umno-led govt, advantages local council, information ministry shamelessly proved they give the word 'fairness' a bad name, polling day to be on a weekday, not sure at least 20%-25% of opposing voter can make it to vote because of the problems they may faced, election commission if just another component party of bn, etc...
to those who is following up this by-election closely and on the opposing side.. you will know how problematic the one-sided process things can get...
lemme know if you are interested in doing something better this saturday, we will go together... if i can get 2 people to go with me in the cab and this makes us 3... will go around and assist them here and there, every little action certainly counts...
if you break it down, there are 9,000+ voters in machap... if each of the 1,000 can bring in 5 votes.. that will make at least 5,000 votes for the opposing side... this is NOT impossible... especially to those who are sitting on the fence... polling day to be on 12th april 2007... a lot of heavy weights will be there for the next one week or so, let's just add to their weight, so we won't be moved so easily!...
