to me it's another bailing out case instructed by our everything-is-possible govt...
do u think if this happen to hong leong bank and/or public bank... will the govt/epf be ever ready to bail them out?!?...
if the answer is obvious enough for you... then i have another question...
why is that so?!?...
p/s ; the truth hurts eh?!?... hurting us as the nation as since 1957?!?...

toll hike protest in summit, usj.. the day i thought i will be caught...
another toll hike protest today (18th march 2007)... in summit, usj... fm approx 1600 hrs...
easily approx 7 trucks, 1 helicopter, tens of bikes and hundreds of police and fru personnels...
alll started very peacefully.. we even mentioned that this is a peaceful protest and even mentioned that the salary of the police to be raised via the hailer...
10 mins into the protest/speeches then the problem started... police were using the drown out the voices of the speakers and the protestors.. it was loud, really loud... childish act fm them!... so called the new strategy fm them.. my arse!.. new strategy it seems!...
we then proceed to inside the shopping complex on the ground floor and started giving out brochures about toll hike... REALLY shameful of them to follow us around... most of us treated them just like some pathetic mascots for visit malaysia year 2007!...
another speaker just arrived and managed to speak some sense to one of the 'big buy' in blue there... asking them for another couple of minutes to speak... right on!.. they gave us the permission... after that speaker, another speaker came on... before he can go into his 2nd sentence of his speech... a loud "tangkap-tangkap" instruction was heard..
next thing you know all went berserk!... most of the shops close on ground for approx an hour... on going today was some taekwando competition also stopped...
5 caught... 4 males and 1 female... just because demostrating peacefully and one guy who stood next to me arrested because apparently he punch the police.. i didn't see that as then it was total chaos... all i heard was "tangkap dia!.. tangkap dia!.. dia pukul aku!"... while looking directly at my direction!... i went like.. "great!.. touch me please!"...
5 mins later..
escort out the arrested ones.. making sure NO ONE is harm any further...
if those of you who is following about this toll hike demostration.. you'll know and/or notice, there's this couple with 2 special kids never fail to attend all the toll hikes... they were furious with the rough handling of the men in blue.. they acted as if we are some kinda criminals...
while escorting them... this happened.. if i remember correctly, as it was still total chaos...
me : "record the whole thing!... record!... send to suhakam!"..
the mother with 2 special kids, while carrying one of her kid : "yes!.. record!... nak tangkap, tangkap.. jangan pukul!"...
abang zul (as per the name tag, this man in blue apparently got punched) : "record?!?... ko tau tak dia tu pukul aku?!?.. tunggu lah bila dapat dia!""..
me : "diam!"...
the mother : "ko punya hal lah!.. siapa suruh ko kurang ajar?!?... nak tangkap aku sekali?!?.. tangkap lah!... aku tak kisah!... yang aku tau aku jumpa korang kat mahkamah allah!"...
abang zul : "korang jangan buat kecoh!"...
the mother : "kecoh apa?!?... yang korang tu tangkap orang pasal nie buat apa?!?... mari tangkap aku.. aku tak kisah kena hukum kat mahkamah sini.. yang aku kisah... mahkamah allah!"...
abang zul just went away... few mintues later.. can see him laughing all the way with some of his colleagues... pathetic!...
a 'big guy' said this via the hailer after the 2 trucks carrying the arrested ones left the area...
"yang block jalan dan tak dengar cakap tu, kasi tangkap sekali.. i have the law with me!"...
i started giggling... fark off you old fart!...
the protest quiet down after this incident... but, we were still around there with those mascots who acted like hungry monkeys.. continue to find fault so they can arrest us...
after getting the news fm some sources... they managed to find out where the arrested ones are in then.. sri kembangan police station... near jaya jusco...
some of them continue their journey there...
it's been a while since i am this angry... over some totally unnecessary issues!...
my questions are... and.. the things i learned fm this kinda peaceful protest...
1) where the fark is the so called 'democracy'?!?...
2) bear in mind, we are in summit building... people fm summit management also dun really bother with wat is happening.. why are the police took up the fire starter role?!?...
3) why did they handle the arrested ones like how those vultures tear the skin and flesh of some dead buffalos in the desert?!?...
4) they have this 'mugshots' book.. with the big 'rahsia' word on it.. showing who to catch and all... you mean they actually already prepared to catch those with pix in the book.. without them doing anything wrong?!?...
5) women protestors (some are really hot ;)) are as vocal as the guys!...
6) even some college students gather together to speak some sense to the government who ignore us COMPLETELY!... shame of you aab and gang!...
7) few people who pm me asking wat is happening lately and all.. come and see for yrself... dun just know how to flip yr fingers on the newspaper, clicks on the mouse, open yr mouth and ask, etc.. on wat is happening and all... YOU can certainly make a different!... nothing will happen to you as no one is above the law!...
8) i still remember the protest mca puchong/mca youth organised in ldp, sunway toll... a big number of forty (40) turned up.. huge number indeed!...
9) the next protest organised by PROTES will be in leisure mall on the 22nd april 2007 fm 1600 hours onwards... we will protest until they reveal the truth (we are certainly on the right track, as i believe they are under some tremendous pressure fm the rakyats on this matter lately)...
10) gerakan!.. watch out for the puchong seat!...
wat a sunday!...

survey... bribery a way of life here...
wat do you think the root of the problem is?!?...
to me personally... one of the many reasons is the salary of the government emplyoees is wayyyy to low...
there are many proposals their salary should be raised, increased, etc... talk, discussion, debate, etc... you can do that till the cows come home... nothing, i meant absolutely nothing will be done by the government...
should the government feel it's ok and IF they were to raise their salaries anytime soon.. then you can actually believe that the general election is near... very near indeed!...
wait a minute!.. if this is the case, then the government have just created another corrupting deed eh?!?... :) .. uh-oh!..
malaysia corruption index gone haywire tremendously since aab took over the country as the pm...

Survey: Bribery a way of life here
PETALING JAYA: Bribery is such a long-standing problem that most Malaysians acknowledge and accept it as part of life.
Lecturer P. Thinavan, 47, suggested that everyone dwelt less on statistics and focused on tackling the problem.
“It is rampant, but corruption only happens if the public partakes in it. After all, it takes two hands to clap.
“Take traffic offences for example. Offenders should follow the rules and pay for their wrongdoings. They are not in a position to bargain, but they offer to settle the matter with the traffic officer,” he said.
Thinavan was commenting on Malaysia Transparency’s Perception Survey 2007 which found that problems of integrity and transparency were “acute and serious.”
Another lecturer from a local university, Sharon Wilson, disagreed with the notion that every government agency was corrupt.
“We can’t stereotype by saying that everyone bribes or receives bribes.
“There might be a lot of cases of people offering bribes to get their driving licence, or situations where people, frustrated by bureaucracy, pay duit kopi.
“For me, it’s a matter of addiction and a bad habit more than an act of desperation,” she added.
Centre for Independent Journalism executive director Sonia Randhawa noted:
“If people have this perception that corruption is serious, it’s possible that they may be practising it as well.”
Asked how corruption may be reduced, she said government policies should not concentrate too much on individual responsibility but tackle the problem on a wider scope.
The survey was conducted from Nov 30 to Jan 12 and polled 1,436 respondents from both public and corporate sectors.
The results were released on Monday.

selangor mentri besar... pretty good in giving speeches...
attended the sp setia chinese new year open house, which to me the main attraction was the 88 lions dancing...
little did i know.. the lion/dragon dance lasted only about approx 20 minutes... think it's much to a dismay to many who went there from near and far that nite...
guess what?!?.. the current selangor mentri besar's speech also lasted 20 minutes!...
to me personally he is a pretty good speaker.. pretty slow... pretty steady... pretty informative... etc...
but...
the speech he gave that nite it TOTALLY irrelevant!.. i was like thinking.. come on, this is an chinese new year open house... why are you giving speeches that went something like..
- we should not the fear the economy cited japan and thailand as examples... hallo!.... do you know where is japan and thailand standing economically compare to the lowly economy in malaysia?!?...
- that he is proud to have multi racial/multi religion of people coming fm all walks of life and celebrate a certain event... hallo!... i may be wrong, but i thought.. minister/s should not mention anything got to do with racial/religion in the respective speech/es?!?...
- that he gave information saying approx 72 projects abandoned which involves approx 22,000 property buyers in selangor... hallo!... thank you for yr information, but why didn't you tell us one shot why they projects are abandoned and who are the so called developers?!?... ong ka ting as the housing minister, you hear us.. or you have nothing to do with this?!?...
- etc...
- etc...
- etc...
p/s ; if only you hear us fm behind grumbling and asking you to cut short yr TOTALLY irrelevant speech... wanna give that kinda speech.. do that at some other time in some other place...
p/s ; why did you come in a benz instead of a malaysian made vehicle?!?... i thought minister/s are supposed to travel in a malaysian made car?!?... or should i say, they are encouraged to travel in a malaysian made car?!?...
