closing down of churches by the malaysian government?!?...

fwded email...

Actually this has already been happening... Just about Seven months back..... This is what happened.... all without notice.....

"...the community had woken up last Thursday morning to find themselves surrounded by enforcement teams, police and bulldozers."

"Just the day before, the community was busy making last-minute preparations for this weekend's church dedication cum Christmas celebration,.."

"....two hours to demolish the church which took the Orang Asli three months and RM 40,000 to build."

Christmas joy dashed for orang asli

"The architect of Malaysia's pro-Islamic drive, while serving as deputy prime minister, Anwar Ibrahim says he only advocated the adoption of Islamic values in government and the civil service and not the "Arabisation" of Malaysian society."

''I myself am worried about the direction of the country," Anwar said at arecent forum on the topic. "Our leaders are failing us. We need strong and committed leadership to arrest the decline." (END/2006)

KUALA LUMPUR, Jun 1 (IPS) - eben

"In some cases, they have even resorted to closing down churches inMuslim-majority areas, and setting up mosques in Muslim-minority areas."

"In 2004 and 2005, the Government caused a furore within the Chinesecommunity by closing down and demolishing some Chinese temples inChinese-majority areas. In as recent as June 2006[6], the Government hasdemolished more than 10 Hindu temples in Hindu majority areas. While thenon-Muslim public suspects that there is a systematic elimination of non-Muslim religious rights in Malaysia by Islamic supremacists within the Government, the Government itself has categorically denied this, though they did not apologize for these acts either."

Islam in Malaysia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Malaysia

The "main proof" that I have is not what the Law or the Government says but "Islamic Theology" in itself." (What I say when I am weak is one thing, But now that I am strong I will say something else - My true Intent)

The second proof is Malaysia'a progress into becoming a semi-TheocraticNation. (and in the midst of this, a growth of persecution of the Religious minorities)

The third is based on my conversation with an Individual (A Christian) who works with one of our MP's. That's just what they are planning to do.(Call it divine providence)

For the first time Churches in K.L, the city are also in slight danger.

Of course, no one is going to admit to their evil intentions. Just as how it happened to the Orang Asli's its going to happen the same way; all of asudden, without anyones notice.

This is going to happen, one by one.

If we accuse them for having such an evil intent, they will definately deny this and accuse us instead, of Slander.
In my opinion,(simplified) a way that we could overcome this problem is tohighlight (to the public and to the International Community) the atrocities that have already been happening, especially to Christians (Many don't know) and question the Government over and over again if this is going to happen again.

We need to prevent this from happening.

We need to always keep watch and not be caught by surprise.

Thank you.

ghana lost to sneaky techniques or money incentives?!?...

3 goals fm offside trap?!?... they must be training real hard for this curi ayam style aka like how i play futsal!... :) ... nutin much about them samba-ing... altho goofy did gave some entertainment here and there.. cafu were as good as ever... dida indeed a solid wall to crack in the game yesterday...

ghana played a superb 1st half more than 50% ball possesion... all went apart for them after the quite-clear-offside goal in the 1st half injury time... gyan and muntari were all over the field buy nutin concrete fm him... without essien they dun look as effective as when the beat czech republic...

ghana attacked fm the start... they found themselves after the 1st goal... not too late to do anything until the 2nd goal... 2nd half were just slow...

back to the subject...

during half time.. had a talk with some people over there.... pretty interesting people who actually play for at least a plasma tv... they were actually saying brazil will win with 3-0, put yr life to it.. some said that even before the game.... apparently this kinda source came from 'people/sources' all the way fm germany and all over the world... mentioning some of the black stars players will be getting some kinda bungalow, incentive, etc.. etc... etc... back in their country in not scoring for the game and most importantly not winning it... on top of that heard that there'll be only 1 red card for the game...

come on peeps... get real... common sense for a team to beat brazil now will take huge effort and fortune this time round in this world cup... it's not that easy...

wat am wondering is... there are clear cut chances for ghana to score yesterday.. not one, not two, not three but tons of chances for them... but, they keep treating the footie goal post like those we see in rugby field!... also, apparently ghana coach were subject to some orders fm some of the fifa commissioner/s to stay off the pitch in the 2nd half!... btw, why huh?!?... am not sure the real reason behind it...

news has been around since my grandfather's days that footie is nutin but money... more so lately in major tournament... true?!?... i dunno...

if so and proven that this is a money game... then think they the 'big players' are going for those newbies... dun think some reputable country, clubs, etc.. will be involved eh?!?...

world cup or should i say footie is losing its glitters?!?...

footie is just so cruel...

another 15 seconds and the world gets to watch at least another 30 minutes, most importantly another 30 minutes to battle out who is more deserving to win... but, one extremely debatable penalty took place in the approx last 15 seconds of the injury time... and that was all over for the aussies!...

italy certainly don't deserve to win that 2nd round game...

after one man down... were playing so defensively.. once in a while they will counter attack.. that was all about it!... they definitely dun play like a 3 times world cup champion...

aloisi did indeed change the game when he came in... think hiddink were expecting the extra time and reserved 2 more substituitions for it... perhaps he should have change the balance 2 as some of the players looked really worn out... nevertheless, he is one of the many excellent coaches to look out for!...

go aussies!.. come back bigger and stronger in 4 years time!...

world cup 2006...

after endless of waiting hours... after millions of painful minutes... after billions of seconds passed by... and after 4 years of itch...

only to find this world cup is a little over-rated...

to be honest this world cup is a little boring compare to the one in japan and korea...

quite predictable on the winning team... scorelines a little shocking for couple of matches.. other than that nutin much to shout about...

all the way for the english to win the 2nd time after 1966... but, must admit... so far the 3 games they played are kinda dissapointing... they struggled against paraguay... pathetic game until last 15 minutes against trinidad & tobago... drew with sweden...

next game will be the 2nd round 1st game for them... playing against ecuador...

looking at ecuador... they are pretty impressive so far in this world cup...

as cliche as it may sound... "the ball is round"... we shall see, watch and observe wat's gonna happen next...

speaking of watching world cup... what the heck am i still doing in the office at this hour?!?... should be somewhere watching the 2200 hours game now!...

balls polishing or wat?!?...

went for a huge function yesterday in kl last friday (16th june 2006)... selangor turf club annual dinner... the 110th anniversary..... approx 120 tables.. approx 1,200 people....

didn't really drink... so, were sober enough to observe people... this is wat i observed...

- people can go all the way fm the other end of the ballroom to this side just to shake hand with the guest of honour... a tengku...

- people can be so fake with them saying with a straight face whereby they were almost reaching the kudikaran kupehs status/level for the nite... "hello tengku, long time no see".... "how are you tengku?!?... congrats on yr appointment by the pm".... "remember me tengku?!?"... i heard all this because they happened to gather next to our table...- "bring a glass of drink here lah.. quick before tengku cabut.. faster!"... one kkk telling another one...

- "there this is the tengku lah... my fren's bro's fren"... were also heard...

- "this is one of the strongmen in perak lah... can look for him if you have anything"... also heard of such remark/s...

- people practically turn their head around 360 degrees for almost 2 hours to look for a datuk, just to say hi to him...

- one lady waved so hard at the tengku to be noticed... during he did the draw for the grand prizes on the stage...

- tun m present.. he is as calm as ever... in his place most of the time... yet people are so jakun... "wahhhhhh, pm also came ar?!?"....now, my questions are...

1 - why do people re-act in such a way?!?...

2 - any hidden agenda behind them?!?... or just to tell other people... "hey, i know so and so man"...

3 - do u mean by having some kinda tengku, tan sri, datuk, etc titles.. your status will make you higher than the rest of us?!?... also, you can start to act like God?!?... bear in mind that they are also human afterall...

if one were to tell me... i did that to respect him/her... i would say bullshiet!..... prolly, am gonna reply him/her... you are just doing some balls polishing and hoping of marrying him/her and end up living in a castle with 10 maids around under your care...

i also observed... the most active tables are those with good frens around who didn't see each other for such a long time and drinking and be merry with each other... this are the tables who dun give 2 hoots about who's there and who's not...

not to be and dun mean to be dis-respectful to anyone of them... but, the bottom line is... ALL OF US are human after all... at the end of the day, we have no one to report/reply to... except The Man above there...

comments appreciated...
