indians in malaysia are being marginalised directly?!?...

where is uncle sam when he the hero for all indians is most needed?!?... patching the leaks in the parliament and/or learning the function of the smart tunnel?!?...

me even as a chinese is disgusted when i read about the news below!...

i wonder wat are the reasons behind the govt is not starting a fund for the indians?!?...

as reported... "and training for entrepreneurs as well as providing business licences to encourage them to venture into business."...

would appreciate if black and white statistics to be provided by that fella to support his claims...

encouraging them into biz is just not enough.. 1st thing 1st, they will need funds to help them to survive...

honeslty, to me it is them, the 'top level' people in the govt are casuing all this kinda race/religion disharmony, marginalisation, etc... in this country...

they are talking about racial unity, religion freedom, etc... but on the other hand they are proving that they are contradicting wat they say...

example...

- bangsa malaysia status is now a long gone thing...

- nep is still going on despite, so-called everyone should be treated equally... also, nep is being abuse to make the rich richer and the poor pooer...

- if you want to bid for a govt project, the main condition would be bumi company is a MUST...

- demolishing of worshipping places...

- this is the time/season for new intakes of students into unis.. mark my words and watch how many non-bumis will be 'marginalised' and/or 'sidelined'... been reading numeours reports on this lately... btw, this is a yearly affair and no changes or watsoever...

- etc..

like i said many times, muslims are the majority in this country and they have the power to change certain things, we need the sane ones like those who actually care about the country to make those changes... you can send them yr warning via the ballot box in the next ge tho...

wat do you think?!?...

p/s ; in this time now, we still have indians who make less than rm 400.00 a month with a family to take care off, we have an indian boy who makes rm 1.00 a day, we have indians who are forced to embrace islam (ok, out of topic.. :) ..)

Government won’t start fund for Indians, but will help in other ways

THE Government has no plan to set up a special investment fund to help uplift the economic position of the Indian community in the country, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Senator Datuk Abdul Rahman Suliman said the Government had used various mechanisms to help the Indians and to ensure that the targeted 3% equity ownership by the community during the Ninth Malaysia Plan period was achieved.

He said various efforts had been taken to increase the participation of Indians in the economy and help uplift their economic status .

Abdul Rahman, replying to a question from K. Devamany (BN – Cameron Highlands) in the Dewan Rakyat, said the mechanisms included Perbadanan Nasional Berhad investment schemes, expanding access to financial assistance, and training for entrepreneurs as well as providing business licences to encourage them to venture into business.

> A medical group from India, Universal Empire Group (UEG), is seeking a local partner to set up a medical college in Malaysia, Malaysia Nanban reported.

UEG’s adviser in Malaysia, Datuk Syed Hussein Al-Habshee, said the New Delhi-based company’s key management team recently visited Malaysia to look into the possibility of setting-up such a college with the capacity to train 100 doctors initially.
